This site was created with the structural steel estimator in mind. I have tried (and will continue) to provide resources to help you become a more efficient and accurate structural steel estimator. I have been in the steel industry for more than 23 years. The majority of that time has been in structural steel, though several years were spent in pre-engineered metal buildings. Most of that time has been involved in estimating. I have worked in several shop roles, project management, and sales; but Structural Steel is home, and estimating is the front porch swing (where I am happiest).
